Just a little more about "my favourite pollie" he often goes by the description "Your voice in Canberra". Well he's been really quiet on the BHP Inc. series of colossal frauds! Just to remind you of what type of person Stephen MARTIN is he was the person responsible for causing the Cunningham by-election on the 19th of October 2002. He resigned as a member of Australian Federal Parliament to take up a sinecure with the Economics Faculty of the University of Wollongong AFTER he was in charge of that Inquiry which gave the banks the opportunity to plunder our savings! (Previously I worked in an underground coal mine and this type of thing, shifting the manager on after he'd completed his agenda, was routine before I accepted voluntary retrenchment!)
I have raised this matter of BHP's inexplicable behaviour with many politicians over about a three year period. I understand that BHP "seemed" to experience financial problems corresponding with about when I believe the rights to an invention were transferred from my ownership and there was no need for BHP to experience this catastrophic collapse of their share-price if they had licensed my invention.
I cannot with complete surety guarantee that the rights to this FACE EMPLACED Services Support invention were extinguished. If I accept my ex-brother-in-law's affidavit (lodged with the Supreme Court of NSW) as truthful then he knows nothing about this invention and if the patents are still current then some other party may have possession of these rights and it could be that Australia has lost the opportunity to earn between $2 billion and $3 billion (Australian currency) per annum profit per annum for the expected remainder 13 year terms of these patents. Now this amount of money coming into Australia would cancel-out two months out of the annual balance-of-trade deficit so you'd think that the pollies would be interested in Australia's financial viability OR conducting an inquiry into the illegal transfer of the rights to this safer, cost-effective means of supporting pipelines in underground mines and tunnels.
Every time a pollie mentions a LAW & ORDER Campaign make reference to this BHP Inc. fiasco and suggest to them that they add their name to the following list to have a number of matters about this pipeline support invention and BHP's seeming manipulation of the share-market and cowboy style of business management attended to.The politicians or aspiring politicians who have done something effective to address this BHP Inc. series of frauds are;

RESPONSIBILITY
There are matters of Australian Federal, NSW State and Wollongong City Council responsibility associated with the BHP Inc. series of colossal frauds. The rights to intellectual property are processed in Australia by IP Australia (derived from Intellectual Property Australia) and as such come under Federal jurisdiction. Your FEDERAL Member of Parliament may be contacted about what happened to the rights to this invention because of their control over IP Australia but also because patents were applied for in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Poland, South Africa & Brazil. These patents would have huge export or foreign earning potential - in fact the profit from a years sales at full market saturation would cancel out two months out of the year's balance of trade deficit - so there's one for the Minister for Export (Mark VAILE)!

The legal matters surrounding the rights to this invention are the jurisdiction of the NSW Supreme Court and as such concern the NSW State Parliament. If you reside in NSW your Member of NSW Parliament and all of the 42 NSW State Parliament SENATORS, members of "the Rum Rebellion", can be contacted regarding the legal issues surrounding why I have not been properly informed how my wife's estate was settled. A right as basic as to how my wife's estate was settled, where this estate could have been used to control the ownership to the rights to an extremely valuable invention*, is not worth being properly dealt with by any NSW state politician! This invention, and what has happened to it (pinched by BHP), has to the best of my knowledge never mentioned in any parliament!

Anyone in NSW can ask Peter BREEN to respond on this matter because he is a member of the "house of (supposed) review" - the Legislative Council of NSW.
If it appears that I am getting a bit slack when dealing with these politicians it is because I have gotten tired dealing with the "Yes Minister" type answers! Though the big difference between the British television show of this name and an Aussie pollie is that the TV show was funny - these Aussie politicians are boringly identical with respect to upholding the rights of an Australian citizen. When confronted with a situation between an Aussie citizen and a multi-national the pollies back the multi-national by not performing their duty properly! Under the ICAC Inquiry into "ol' Nick" GREINER the definition of corruption was expoused as being the failure to take action when it was deemed as fitting. All of the pollies contacted on this BHP Inc. series of colossal frauds are therefore deemed as corrupt!
If you are a resident of the Illawarra (south coast of NSW) you may be interested in the following. I don't think that BHP are completely dumb so if they've pinched the rights to this FACE EMPLACED Services Support invention I very much doubt that they would allow the manufacturing to occur within the Illawarra region because if BHP did it would be more likely that I would find out about it and have some basis for raising the issue of "the Phantom"** in appropriate forums (NSW State and Australian Federal Parliaments) and also I could include this on this web-site. Therefore the Illawarra is unfairly penalised as they would miss out on the investment for machinery, infrastructure and production for some $80 million of product per annum! There's a rumour going around that the high amount of traffic from "white collar criminals" down at Sussex Street has caused such a demand on red carpet that the criminals have been asked to 'wipe their feet' (in keeping with Bob's TOUGH ON CRIME policy)! I would like to scotch this rumour as being malicious because everyone knows that Bob would simply just import more red carpet rather than have this section of criminality put to any form of discomfort or duress. Of course this "treatment" comes at a price! (donations to the ALP)
I was at Central (railway) Station a couple of weeks ago (end of September, 2002) and Bob's mug (presidential-style election campaign) appeared on a cardboard flyer. Some of the quotes are "Die in jail: Carr's new sentences" and "Carr gets tough on minimum jail terms". Bob you'd better reassure these BHP Inc. series of colossal fraud criminals that you don't mean them!
Here's the comparison a bloke attempts to defraud $1,000 by submitting a false claim for physiotherapy and gets six months jail. A woman defrauds Merriwa Shire Council of $300,000 and gets 18 months weekend home detention! In her favour she repaid $190,000 but she still had $110,000 she stole from her employer! The joke (without any humour) is that she could complain to the Equal Opportunities Commission on the grounds that she was not treated like Rodney ADLER - who received a sentence involving no other penalty than disqualification from being a director from all but his family company. (I don't think that he's been fined yet for the hundreds of millions he pocketed!)
The oft heard chant,

is no longer applicable because "Rocket Rod" didn't get anything (prison time) yet!

"Most of us were taught the idea that government exists, at least in part, to protect both our lives and our property. At least, that's the way I recall it. In recent years, however, government seems intent upon the taking of private property, utilizing a concept known as "forfeiture" as its modus operandi.
As with many good ideas that become skewed over time, this one was initiated to justify the seizure of assets from drug dealers as an additional armament in the war on drugs. If you could make a case against a high-level drug dealer, even one where he wouldn't face lengthy incarceration, and at the same time seize his mansion in Miami, his ski chalet in Vail, his luxury automobiles, bank accounts and his collection of cigarette boats, that's a real score. You have certainly struck a soft spot by taking all that is near and dear to him. These properties were said to be "forfeited" as the proceeds of criminal activity. The burden then fell upon the criminal to prove that there was a legitimate source for the real estate, the wads of cash, the flashy cars and the like. Usually, proving this was impossible.
As often happens with zealous government agents, there are sometimes unintended applications of the law. For example, a case that reached the U.S. Supreme Court some years ago, when that body was differently constituted than it is today, held a seizure of a yacht to be unreasonable and disproportionate to the crime of possessing only a couple of joints of marijuana. What that meant is that, if your teenager were caught smoking a joint in the family car, the police could no longer take the car away. But, after that ruling, things were to proceed downhill in a big way.?"

IN SUMMARY
On understanding the information on this web-site the visitor can understand that the Westminster-style of parliament is almost a total failure because it does not address the close relationship between the media, politics and big (vested-interest) business!
A "trump card" needs to be added so that the majority of the citizens have the power to block any parliamentary initiative - and I don't mean the Governor of any state in Australia or the Governor General of Australia, because they should have already acted to restore balance to the situation.
The only "trump card" I know of is Citizens Initiated Referendum where the population can veto any parliamentary initiative. Switzerland citizens come together to vote on issues four times a year and the Swiss Parliament use this voting to gauge public opinion in the drafting of future legislation. Ask any of our pollies over here (in OZ) and watch them "choke". Basically you can't trust any self-interested group for as long as three years!
