I spoke at the Humanistic
Society Wednesday (22nd inst. -10
Shepherd Street, Chippendale).
The talk was about the pipeline support invention*
and it's treatment by the NSW and Federal Governments
and the relevant government authorities (principally the
ASIC) and the NSW legal system. All I'll say is
that the evening was a real eye-opener and I've learnt
to be a little more accommodating!

I've had a newspaper clipping
from last Wednesday's (May 15th - page 47) The
Daily Telegraph scanned and placed on the web-site.
The reporter for the Bottom of the Harbour feature
in the Business section of the Telegraph
noted that the BHP Billiton spokesperson refused to
comment when asked if BHP Billiton was taking any legal
action. Apparently this "A Tangled web"
article was read out on the 2SSR radio Station
that morning too!
I was placed on a training
programme (Introduction to Computers at Wollongong Tech)
by my Job Network Provider a couple of months ago and
the very same person who placed me on this computer
training programme wanted to remove me mid-session onto
another course which would consume more time. She
mentioned that protesting about the loss of the rights
to my invention was likely to scare would-be employers
away. (You're not supposed to insist on your
rights in this country now just like what was occurring
in Russia.)
This attempted
re-direction of my training occurred after I drove the
truck advertising BHP's corruption around Sydney
CBD for a week! A photograph of this truck
has been placed on the web-site
too.
Most people cannot understand that
once someone's rights are interfered with everyone's
rights are affected. By the way the personnel at
the Job Network Provider act the situation with myself
and BHP is well understood and although I think that
these personnel are reasonable people people they have
certainly gone along with what would suit BHP.
The only problem with this sort of philosophy, where it
is hoped that someone else will perform the duty or that
the problem will go away, is most go along with the
regime and therefore the regime flourishes - no matter
how crazy this regime is!

"First They Came
For"....... by Reverend Martin Niemoeller
"In Germany, the Nazis first came for the
communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a
communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't
speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then the came for the
trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't
a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, but
I didn't speak up because I was a protestant. Then they
came for me, and by that time there was no one left to
speak for me."
Reverend Niemoeller, a German Lutheran pastor, was
arrested by the Gestapo and sent to Dachau in 1938. He
was freed by the allied forces in 1945.
There are matters which the NSW state
politicians should be addressing such as the behaviour
of the solicitors and barristers which were engaged.
The fact that the national manufacturing ($80 million
per annum) for the invention could be located in this
state and NSW politicians have failed to take any
interest in securing this work is another thing. I
tell people that the Illawarra region is penalised
because it is unlikely that BHP (Billiton) would choose
to manufacture anywhere near myself and as I do not plan
to leave therefore the Illawarra is penalised!
To me this whole mess is about whether or not the Australian
population accepts what has happened. I tell people
that if a murder is committed and the relevant authorities
do nothing and the electorate does nothing also when
there is an obvious perpetrator then the electorate
therefore accepts murder as the standard! I'm
not talking about a lynching party though - I'm talking
about taking an interest in matters of community concern
and letting the politicians
know about your concern(s).
