ACCOUNTING

With all the corporate accounting debacles being uncovered the BHP Inc. series of colossal frauds should come as no surprise!  It's a little hard to remember which scam applied to which giant corporation's accounting malpractices but I remember the words of a Professor at one of the American Universities comment on  WorldCon  - the booking up of running costs as capital expenses being taught as being incorrect in Accounting 101.

I simply regard balance sheets as mere "fantasies" until I have information supporting the view presented!
